Oh the discovery of Halloween. Gavin really had NO clue last year (8 months old) but what a difference a year makes. He learned how to say Halloween, trick or treat and his new favorite word pumpkin (punkin')…he wasn't too thrilled about putting on his costume but was ok once his "special jacket" was on. He was also pretty excited to carry his pumpkin bucket and walked our whole neighborhood with Daddy, steps, hills, sidewalks and all. He had a blast. The funny part was he really wasn't sure what people were giving him all night and really didn't realize any of it was edible. So, then Tuesday morning comes and he discovers the Halloween candy bowl and a half open Butterfinger candy bar…now we know what candy is. He other favorite word this days is "more", so candy is one of the things he was on a mission to obtain. It has died down now but he recognizes the bowl and the candy bars now. hehe
Nora obviously did not trick or treat but she was looking cute too! It was getting a littel late for her and being stuffed in a Halloween flower costume was not high on her list of things to do. Aunt Jen has been with us this week and managed to get her to chill out in the chair for a picture but she pretty much wento bed not long after.
